GENDER REVEAL | INVITATION + INSPIRATION

We will be finding out the gender of our sweet little one very soon and we have planned a gender reveal party for early May. We are so incredibly excited and I have been planning away! We decided that since this is our first time, we want to find out what the gender of our baby is just the two of us. So we will find out and then reveal to our close family and friends at the party. I will say, we are finding out a few weeks before so it will be quite the challenge not to spill the beans, but we are so excited to share that with everyone on the same day while we are all together. 

I have been searching Pinterest/Blogs for the past few weeks collecting ideas. There are so many cute themes out there, but we decided to keep it simple and just go with a navy and blush "theme", if you will, also what our wedding colors were! 

I decided to search Etsy for our invitations and didn't have to look too far. I came across this design and instantly fell in love. Stephanie at Duffy Design Co was great to work with and she does beautiful work! So many cute things in her Etsy Shop.  The colors, font and watercolor background caught my eye and I knew instantly that these were our invitations. 

I'm thinking a cute banner on our white mantel and a few fun other navy and blush pieces around the house. We also love the confetti cannons, they just look so fun!

We are doing our party mid morning, so we will be serving brunch foods. I am still working on putting the menu together and such. There are so many choices when it comes to brunch foods (and I love 99.9% of them) and I just want to make it all. We are so excited and can't wait!
