7 DAY PACKING LIST | PRINTABLE

I love traveling, and oddly enough, I love packing. Matthew loves that I love packing (lol) and usually leaves the packing up to me. I'll ask him what outfits he wants me to pack and then add that to my packing list on my phone. Whether it be a weekend trip or week long trip, I always try to make a packing list to help keep me organized and so I don't forget anything. Usually that list is on my phone and while it's handy to have on my phone I really like being able to write things out and physically cross them off. Same way with my daily lists that I make (#OCDforever). So I created this packing list for when we go on trips and wanted to share with you all! It's for a 7 day trip, but if our trip is shorter (which it usually is) then I just use the amount of days that is needed for that trip. Once I have our bags packed then I lay this on top of our clothes, for reference when we get to our destination, and zip everything up and we're ready to go!

Special note: This is for one person. I use one of these for me and one of these for Matthew. Also, now that we have a sweet puppy I have a packing list for her as well that I'll be sharing soon. There is nothing worse than getting somewhere and realizing you forgot your dog's favorite treats. ;)

I also recently bought these travel bottles that I am pretty excited about using on our next trip.
They may or may not already be labeled...

TAKE THEM A MEAL

I love cooking for others, for a dinner at our home, and I love cooking for others, for a dinner in their home. Have you ever had the opportunity to take family or friends dinner? Maybe they are going through a tough time, they are new parents, or new neighbors just moved in next door, etc. Whatever the reason is, there is always something going on in life that requires a meal, and a good one at that!

One of my favorite things to make for these kinds of situations is lasagna. Maybe not everyone likes lasagna as much as we do, but I like to assume they do.

Lasagna, the easiest meal to make, and it freezes well! The two families that I made dinner for recently were small, so if you are making dinner for a larger family then I would recommend making larger portions. I bought these, aluminum to-go containers at Dollar Tree and they come in packs of three.

You know what's even better than lasagna? Lasagna that you didn't even have to cook yourself and is delivered right to your doorstep...I like to make each family two lasagnas (one to eat that night and one to freeze for another time, they are good for up to 6 months) a box of garlic bread, salad + dressing, dessert, and if I have extra time I will make them breakfast! Breakfast casserole, breakfast burritos, or what I did recently, cinnamon rolls - all in disposable containers to keep it hassle free!

I also made recipe cards to label each item. That way if they have any questions about what's in the dish or need instructions to warm it they have it right there in front of them! Check out the recipe card printable below. I printed a lot off and keep them in my kitchen for anytime I need them!

You can find the Pioneer Woman's recipes here, and I will be sharing the lasagna recipe tomorrow!

Here is the recipe card that I designed for these and for future meals. You can right click and save on the picture below to save it to your computer for your own personal use.

CHRISTMAS BINDER...FREE PRINTABLES

A few months ago I shared the image below on Instagram about how I was already starting to plan for Christmas in July with a Christmas binder I had just finished making.
I had a great response and even had quite a few emails from different readers asking for the prints so they could make their own Christmas binder. I got to playing around and revamped some of my prints and even added a few more, and I am going to share those with you today!

There are 17 total sheets (including FOUR different covers to pick from) that you can save and print to make your own binder. It's super simple, all you have to do is:
right click on the picture > click on "Save image as..." > click on save
It will usually save automatically to your desktop or to your downloads folder, unless you choose another location. So easy and these are great quality prints!

Covers to choose from:

Option 2

Option 3

Option 4

Christmas bucket list

I am really enjoying mine so far and it's a great way to plan for the holidays that are coming up.
I used plain dividers that I already had on hand to organize my binder a little more...works like a charm! I plan on saving my binder and just storing it away after Christmas until next year around this time, so that I can pull it out and get started planning again. I'll be able to reprint these pages and update my address list as needed, as well as some other pages!

I hope these will help you stay organized this holiday season and get you in the Christmas spirit a little early!

HOT DOG BAR PRINTABLES

A lot of you asked about the labels I used for our Summer Soiree, and here they are! I made all of these labels through PicMonkey...free and easy to use. If you've been around here any length of time then you know I am a pretty big fan of PicMonkey.
.
All you have to do is 'right click' on the picture and save it to your computer to print whenever you want to use them! I got the hot dog menu ideas from Kristen's blog but just changed up the look.

The BLT Dog

The Chicago Dog

The Classic Dog

The Southern Dog

Hot Dog Bar

And here are some other labels that can be used at any summer themed party!

Appetizers

Desserts

Pasta Salad

Baked Beans

Cole Slaw

Potato Chips

Lemonade

Sweet Tea

Water

Tip: I printed them all off on card stock paper. The smaller labels I taped to card stock paper tents that I made. They were very sturdy and I can use them again in the future.

Enjoy!
