SPD linkup: Sucker bouquet

This is an easy project to make but it's not the cheapest or quickest. Already have you hooked, right?

BUT
they are adorable so it makes up for it!

What you will need:
-Styrofoam ball
-300 count bag of dum dum suckers
-candle stand or flower pot

-I bought my Styrofoam ball at Joann's and I used this lil handy coupon (and Joann's lets you use the coupon as many times as you want, even breaking up the transactions...HOLLA)

-Don't make the mistake like I did thinking that small bag of dum dum suckers  from Dollar General will do because it won't even cover half of the dang ball, so drive across town and buy the big bag of 300.
-I chose to use a candle stand and I bought it for a $1 at Dollar Tree

Buy this.

NOT THIS

How to make it:
1. Just stick the sucker in the ball one at a time, get them as close as you can so there aren't any gaps showing.
2. Put the finished sucker ball on the stand or the flower pot
3. Make a picture of it, duh.

Obviously don't cover the whole ball in suckers because then it wouldn't sit on the stand

{See SO easy, just time consuming but if you work on it while watching TV or the Bachelorette coming up...eeek then it won't seem like so long}

SPD: Lilly Pulitzer post it note holder

I found this cute pin on Pinterest months ago and I have been waiting to make it for someone and this past weekend I had the opportunity to!

This lil craft only coast me....are you ready for it?
$0.97

Anytime a craft costs $0.97 you know I am all over it

What you will need:

1. The clear $0.97 picture frame (I bought mine at Wal-Mart)
2. Scrapbook paper
3.Tape (I used double sided Scotch tape)
3. Scissors

How to:
It is really easy from here, you just slide the paper in the frame and put the sticky notes on the front of the frame. I added a small piece of the double sided tape to the sticky part of the post it notes (on back) and stuck it to the frame and it stayed!

*Also if your don't have scrapbook paper just search a design you want on google images and then print it off to use (I printed off a Lilly Pulitzer one for my sister)
She doesn't know I made this yet, so Mady if you are seeing this try to forget about it. I haven't decided when I am going to give it to you.

So easy and it will look so cute on their desk! I am going to have to make myself one soon for my desk, I am still trying to decide on what design I want.

The lighting is bad so please excuse that! I have painted a lot of other things but I will just save those and show all you pretties later!

Do any of you like to paint? I would love to see what you have painted if you do!!
