FRIDAY VOL. 32

Fall is finally here, and while it still gets pretty warm during the day, the cool mornings and afternoons are so nice!

I am on the search for a cute lightweight utility jacket and I love the burgundy/wine color look. I have found this one on Amazon, but the reviews are a little skeptical. If you know where to find any send them my way!!!

I worked from home earlier this week and Reagan was LOVING it and I did too! ;)

 Girlfriend was hammin' it up being able to lay in my lap while I worked all day.

The weather was SO nice one day that I decided to sit outside while I took some calls. I could definitely get used to working from home more often, ha!

I have been "studying" for work this week and it made me feel like I was back in school again...worst feeling ever, but I am almost finished with what I am working on!

We had our carpets cleaned this week and they look SO much better!! Definitely worth the extra money to have them professionally done- and just in time for Friendsgiving next month. Woo hoo!

FRIDAY VOL. 31

It had been almost two week since I last blogged...oops. Hopping on here to share some recent happenings in our world.

- We went to a Pred's pre-season game, sadly they lost, but it was still a good game! Matthew was like a kid on Christmas Eve that whole day because hockey is back and we were going to see them play lol.

- Now that football and hockey are back we have signed up for Sling TV again. I think I mentioned it earlier this year, but we got rid of cable. We rarely watch anything on cable, other than football and hockey, so paying for a ton of channels just didn't make sense, or in my grandfather's words, "a lick of sense". With Sling TV, you don't sign any contracts, just pay month-by-month. So after the Pred's season ended back in June we didn't sign up for it again until September. We love it!

- My youngest two sisters played soccer for their middle school this year, and they made it to the championship game. They didn't win, but they still had a really good season! So we still celebrated with some Chick-fil-A after!

 - It has still been pretty warm around here, but the humidity isn't as bad, so we've been spending a good bit of time outside. Reagan loves the backyard!

- Last Saturday I took a short nap and work up to see these two napping across the living room too. How cute are they?!

- That night I went to a girls game night at a girl's house from church. It was a lot of fun. I haven't played apples to apples since we lived in Cookeville.

- We ordered Reagan a new harness and she loves it, and we do it! The one we had ordered a few months ago was too big for her and she kept slipping out of it.

- This past Sunday Matthew and I both had to leave for work trips in different places. He was headed to Chicago and I was headed to Rhode Island. Our flights left at the same time (after mine got delayed a little) so we had ourselves a little romantic date at the airport, kidding, we were hustlin through the airport to make it through security.

I had a layover in Baltimore and didn't get to eat dinner before I left, so I had my first Auntie Anne's experience. The pretzel dog...definitely worth all the calories.

- Rhode Island was very small, and I felt like we had to drive though every single neighborhood just to get anywhere, but it did have some small charming little towns. Federal Hill was definitely a favorite.

- One last thing. Recently I organized all my apps on my phone into folders, and LOVE it. Scrolling through trying to find a certain app was beginning to get on my nerves, so this is working out great. I also like being able to see more of my wallpaper.

It has been a week, and I'm pretty sure this was me Tuesday morning...

My team had a potluck at work this week and I decided to make a cherry/pineapple dump cake. It was the first dump cake I have ever made, but it most definitely won't be my last. I will be making that for all potlucks from now on. So easy and delicious! Next dump cake on my list is a peach one!

We got home one night this week and found Reagan sleeping on the stairs waiting for us...I love her.

The first part of this week the humidity was really low so we could sit outside and not suffocate in the heat and it was really nice!

This makes me laugh every time I see it shared on Facebook. So funny and so accurate!!

I know I'm probably really late to the game on this, but I just started using OneNote at work and I am OBSESSED. I love it so much that I will be using it for personal stuff too. I love that there is an app as well. Anyone use it? Love it or hate it? I've probably spent an hour or so on it everyday this week getting all my stuff organized on it.

For dinner Monday night I had planned for us to have pork tenderloin with a couple of sides. When I got home Monday I remembered that I forgot to put it in the crock pot that morning, so sandwiches it was for dinner. I wasn't even too upset about it because that was the easiest and quickest prep for dinner, and that meant no dishes...YAS. We usually like to do these kind of meals on Friday nights or Saturdays for a quick lunch but having this on a Monday night was nice for a change!

Last Friday night Matthew showed me his inbox for work and I do believe my heart stopped for a few seconds after seeing 5,000+ emails. So on Wednesday night he showed me that he was at 59 and then last night he was at inbox ZERO! My OCD heart is proud.

We were running some errands the other night and decided to stop by Chick-Fil-A for a milkshake...best idea ever. Their peach milkshake is so, so good! The best treat for a hot summer night.

I was sitting outside with Reagan the other night and the sunset was incredibly beautiful. Y'all know I am a sucker for this kinda stuff. There are probably about 50 pictures of different sunsets on my phone...no shame.

Every night before bed Reagan likes to lay on the couch with me and fall asleep. She usually lays on my legs or at my feet but the other night she decided to lay right beside me, and under the blanket.

Later she woke up and was rockin' this hair.

I received the sweetest package in the mail the other day from Ashley.

She made me a hat with the cutest pineapple on the front and my monogram on the back. She knows me so well! How cute is this hat?! 

I can't wait to wear this hat this weekend, so cute and perfect for summer! Thank you, Ashley!! 

Last night I went to dinner with my two best friends. I usually go back home for our girls nights, but we decided to go to The Pharmacy in Nashville so they picked me up from work and headed there. Such a fun Thursday night! We went to Jeni's after dinner for some ice cream. The perfect summer girls night, if you ask me!

If you follow along over on my Instagram then you probably saw that we went to Charleston for a few days. It's was a very last minute trip and we had the best time celebrating our 2nd anniversary in the beautiful town. Next week I'll do a recap on our trip, but for now here are a few pictures!

- We're getting back into our routines, but like always, coming back from vacation is rough! We were extremely excited to get back to our sweet girl though. My in-laws kept her and she loved staying with them!

- I am finally starting to like The Office. Jim and Pam are completely hitting me in all my feels, ha! I have been warned by many people that the last episode will leave me sobbing.

- What are your favorite items at Aldi? I have heard their pizza is really good, so I am going to try one of those next time I'm in there to grocery shop, but i'd love to know more of your Aldi favorites!

- What are you must do's/see's/eats in Charleston, SC? 

- It has been very hot this past week and I feel like I am instantly walking into an oven every time I step outside. Definitely perfect pool weather!

- I have been looking into purchasing a few tube of LipSense from a distributor, but I wanted to know y'all's thoughts? From everything I hear/see ladies are obsessing over it, but I'm a bit skeptical about taking it off at the end of the day. Do you have to buy something else to remove it or does it come off easily with warm water? Send me your tips + tricks and favorite colors!

- It is so hard to believe that our TWO year anniversary is next week. Some days I still can't believe we're actually married and then there are days where it feels like we've been married for years (in the best way!)

- We have been watching quite a few movies lately, so what are some of your favorite movies?? We always are open to new movie suggestions! 
- I had a few gift cards that I have been holding on to since Christmas, and I put them to good use over the holiday weekend! I found some of the cutest tops on major sale. 
- I am already thinking about my planner for next year, mostly because a friend at work just introduced me to Plum Paper planners, and I love them! So easy to personalize to what I want. Anyone ever try any of their products?? Their prices aren't bad at all either.
- I have been hearing a lot about Target getting rid of some of their big brands and bringing in some new brands. Target clothes vary for me. Some days I go in there and find some good pieces and come days I go in there and can't find a single item of clothing that I like. So I guess you could say I'm not too sad to see some of those brands go lol. 
- If you have a Newk's in your area take advantage of this deal....buy one entree, get one free. And while you're there, treat yourself to a Lemon Whoopie Pie, you won't regret it!

FRIDAY VOL. 26

FRIDAY VOL. 25 | NEW ADVENTURES

Today I turn in all 48,602 keys that I am responsible for, sign off on a couple of documents and projects that I'm over, and officially hand over my title as the office Admin to someone else. 

I got promoted at work!
 The end of this month marks my second anniversary with my company. I have been so incredibly patient to finally get to this level in my career, and I'm really excited for the next chapter!  Matthew and I celebrated over a delicious dinner at one of our favorites, Connors, a few weeks ago after I accepted the position, and he brought me home the prettiest bouquet of flowers that I forgot to take a picture of. 

 I am so thankful for my work family and for this incredible opportunity to grow in my career. I have learned from some of the best and brightest minds in the industry, and there will me so much more to learn, new friendships to make, and new experiences to gain. I am so excited and thankful for it all.

My new adventure as a Client Services Manager starts Monday!

FRIDAY VOL. 25 | NEW ADVENTURES

FRIDAY VOL. 24

Tuesday night we headed back home to watch my sister's last softball game. We had to stop and get gas on the way and Reagan always has to see Matthew while he's pumping the gas. If I don't put the window down so he can come over and talk to her then she freaks out lol.

After 16 years of playing softball in the summers this was her last year and we were happy to see them play!

 The organization that we have all played with since we were little presented her with a plaque and flowers since it was the end of the season for her.

Wednesday morning we were up bright and early to meet my family for a quick breakfast and then headed over to the airport to see Mady off for the summer. She is working as a camp counselor this summer at a camp up in Maine. She sent us these pictures after she arrived to the camp and it's beautiful!!  

I ordered some prints from Mpix and they delivered the very next day...talk about super fast shipping!!! More to come next week on what we're doing with them, I am so excited for this little project!!

Reagan and I took a trip to Lowe's this week for some flowers and soil. Girl was loving all of the attention again, ha!

Usually while I'm getting ready for work Reagan lays in my lap or on our bed, but one morning this past week she decided to roam around our bedroom and bathroom. I heard something fall over and walked over and saw this....that look on her face lol.
