Minted: Wedding Programs

I am just going to be honest with you and tell you that I looked at all things wedding even before Matthew and I got engaged. I couldn't help it! It's all of Pinterest and the internet and I, of course, loved every minute of it! One of my favorite websites to always browse on is Minted. Around Christmas time I would look through all the gorgeous Christmas cards, I would look at the wedding section year round, and when we got the key to our apartment I started looking at all the art pieces they had on there!! Seriously, there is something on there for every season of life. Whether you are graduating, getting married, having a baby, or just wanting to decorate your home, they have it all! Whenever I get on their website I save stuff like crazy so I can go back and look at it. Lucky enough for me all I have to do is go to my "favorites" section on their website and see what all I have favorited/saved. Here are a few things I have favorited recently...

As you can see, we haven't quite nailed down which design we like best for our programs. We are still going through each one to see which one fits us best. There are so many to choose from... So how about you help us decide!! Do you like this design better?  It definitely fits our wedding colors. It's simple and absolutely beautiful. Such a classic, I think!!

or this design better?  It's different from any program that I have ever seen at a wedding and I really like that! I love the earthy tones it sets off and the layers add to it and make it fun!

I love the font used on there and the "Save OUR date" instead of "Save THE date" Kinda making me regret not sending out save the dates!!!! Swank Avenue

Haute LA Boutique review + weekend recap

A few weeks ago I was contacted by the sweet Tara over at Haute LA boutique and of course I fell in love with everything on her website! I saw a dress on her website that I have been eyeing on Pinterest all summer and knew right away that was the dress I wanted...let me just show you so you can see for yourself

  LOVE the colors and the style of the maxi dress! 

(Haute LA boutique: Hermosa Love Maxi- Coral/Mint) Saturday: I took my little sister out for the day for her birthday since I won't be home on her actual birthday. I told her the day was hers to pick where she wanted to go! We ate lunch together and she filled me in on all her 4th grade drama, did some shopping and ended our girls day with ice cream! I can't believe she is going to be 10 in a few short days!!

LOVE my Sammy Jo! Sunday: We had a great church service! It was a lesson I needed to hear and got me thinking on a few things for sure. My other little sister was invited to a birthday party at a hair salon...I hadn't ever really heard of that but that looked like the cutest party ever for little girls. They got to pick out any dress they wanted and pick out any jewelry and then they got their hair, nails and make up done  and on top of that they got to walk on the "red carpet".

too cute  for words. Hope you all had a great weekend!  Matthew had a guys weekend in South Carolina with his brother and his brothers old roommate and he is coming home today, can't wait to hear all about his trip over dinner tonight! We will F I N A L L Y be in Cookeville together!!
