EASTER 2017

It was a very happy Easter weekend spent with our families!
Saturday morning I made Easter crack for dessert for our Easter celebrations. I ended up making two batches and it made a ton!
Insta story stickers...I can't lol

Saturday afternoon we had Easter with my side of the family. There were plenty of sub sandwiches and desserts, and the kids did an Easter egg hunt. I am almost positive that when I was growing up the prize egg definitely didn't have that much money in it lol.
We had the most perfect weather all weekend long, which is a nice change for once! I feel like the past few Easters it has been cold and rainy. Sunny and 80 is my favorite!
Saturday night we headed to Matthew's parents house to stay the night. We got there in time for the Pred's second playoff game- they won! It was a good game, but I definitely struggled staying awake for the whole game ;)
Sunday morning we went to church and lunch with Matthew's parents. They took us to a new (to us) place in town called Slim Chickens, and it was so good! It was the cutest place and we can't wait to go back.
Sunday afternoon we headed to my mema's house for our last Easter celebration of the weekend. It was good to see everyone and get to hang out with them for the afternoon!

Reagan was loving all of the attention this weekend!

The weekend definitely wore our girl out though...she slept like this for at least an hour while we sat around talking, and then on the way home she was standing in Matthew's lap while he was driving and she kept falling asleep standing up lol.

Reagan definitely enjoyed her Easter basket this year. It was filled with all her favorite treats and some new toys. The cutest little bunny!

EASTER 2016

Easter weekend was stressful for us for obvious reasons, but we tried to make the best out of it and spend as much time with family as we could. We had lunch with my family on Saturday and enjoyed seeing everyone. It's always so nice to go back home, even for a little bit. I don't know if I've ever mentioned this before, but my parent's built our house soon after they were married and they have lived there since. They lived with my mom's parents for the first 6 months of their marriage while they built our house, paycheck by paycheck. Since then they have added on twice lol. So that is literally the house I grew up in. It holds so many special memories and I just love it.

Of course we took pictures, maybe one day I will remember to bring my camera and not rely on my phone to make pictures :)

Please look at this picture. My sister photobombed at the perfect time lol.

Late Saturday afternoon we went to Matthew's parents house and had dinner and then went on a long walk in their neighborhood. The weather was perfect! We loaded Murphy up in the stoller and we were off for our walk. Matthew's parents neighborhood is so nice and quiet, it definitely makes for a great place to go on a walk. After our walk we sat around and talked for a little bit before we headed off to bed pretty early. We were still exhausted from not having much sleep the night before.

Sunday we woke up and went to church with Matthew's parents and then came back home and enjoyed a delicious Easter lunch his mom made. We visited for a little bit longer and, then made the drive to my mema's house. Since we had already eaten lunch we just visited and I snacked on some Easter candy :)

Matthew changed out of his dress pants and into jeans right after church and we didn't get a picture until we were at my mema's house, but here is our Easter picture! You can't really tell in his picture but his shirt was white with blue and pink stripes. It was such a gloomy day and it was actually drizzling rain when we had this picture made, so taking pictures just wasn't in our favor on Easter. Matthew wasn't too upset about it though ;)

Bee Rock and Good Workouts

Whew! I feel like life is flying by and I can hardly come up for a breath.
The past week has consisted of:
Wedding Planning
Spending time with family
Some REALLY good workouts
Some good times with friends
and of course, some REALLY good food ;)
Wedding planning is going well! I went this past weekend and picked out our flowers with my aunt. It was so surreal, a lot of this wedding planning has me feeling that way. It seems like it was just yesterday we were picking out his suit to wear to senior prom and boutonniere for senior prom and now, these past few weekends, we've picked out his suit and and boutonniere for our WEDDING. As in what he will be wearing when I walk down the aisle to him and we become HUSBAND and WIFE. My emotions are just through.the.roof.
I got to see most of my family this past weekend. The kids had their annual Easter egg hunt while I enjoyed some chocolate ;) My mema mad a huge lunch on Sunday and, of course, it was delicious. Her ham and potato salad are to die for...and calories don't count on holiday weekends, right? ;)

Last Monday we had a GOOD workout. I'm talking about the kind where you push yourself and feel amazing afterward. Love workouts!! We didn't go to the gym everyday, but I still did some workouts at home!
I went to bee rock with my sister and best friend. I had never been there but Matthew's brother, Nathan, talks about it all the time so we went! It was well worth the drive, too.

Also, campus is SO pretty right now!

Easter weekend at home

The past weekend was great!! So good to see family and have some down time at home.
We came in Friday night, I dropped Matthew off at his house and then headed home. Pizza and the movie Frozen is what my Friday night consisted of and I didn't hate it.

Saturday my mom and I went and got pedicures and breakfast with my two best friends and their moms. It was a great morning and we had a lot of fun. IHOP never disappoints that is for sure!

Our mommas! That wind was something else!!

Love these girls more than anything! So blessed by their friendship over the years.

Saturday afternoon we had Easter with my mom's side of the family and Sunday afternoon we had Easter with my dad's side of the family.

My Easter dress...scored a great deal on this dress a couple of years ago and never have worn it. Tore the tags off of it this past weekend and fell in love!

I made my sister's little Easter baskets! Gotta love Target's dollar section :)

Love this picture of us! My sister's are beautiful

The Easter bunny was good to me this year! I have plenty of candy to last me awhile lol
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend!! :)

I've been shot

By Matthew's twin brother, Nathan, with a nerf gun.

Have you ever heard of the game Nerf assassin? Well my amazing boyfriend organized this fun game to play with the SOC a couple of weeks ago and it has been straight up CRAZY.
If you haven't here is a short version of how the game works:
I have a target that I am trying to find and "shoot"...
There is someone after me at the same time, though...
When I "shoot" my target their target becomes mine...
Get it? If not you can google it to find out more about it!

Anyways, it is a very fun game but I kid you not when you know someone is "after" you then you are paranoid and carry that Nerf gun with you EVERYWHERE, yes even restaurants and grocery stores. You can never be too cautious with this game!!

That game and a lot have other things have been going on these past couple of weeks and I just needed a break from blogging. Can't wait to catch you up on everything!!
With a lot of thought put into it I have decided it would be best if I just get an apartment by myself.
We looked and looked and finally found one that was acceptable to live in and I love it! It is so close to my work, town and the store. We went and looked at it last week and I love it. I have been on Pinterest almost everyday looking for different ideas to do with my new apt. This apt also comes with a decent size deck and I am loving it. Loving it so much that I already bought a patio set! Matthew and I were just walking through Wal-Mart the other day and saw it and loved it AND realized it was on sale. I about died. So now I have a huge box siting in my room at my current apt waiting to move it to my new one!

There are so many exciting things coming up. I am so blessed with the group of friends that I have and my family.
Tomorrow I'll recap my Easter weekend at home...

HAPPY MONDAY!
