BOOK CLUB THURSDAY

2 posts, 1 day- how's that for getting stuff done? lol. I wanted to participate in this fun linkup today so here's my second post for the day!

Since 2015 was a pretty busy year with getting married, starting a new job, and moving I didn't do too much reading. However I did get a couple of good reads in.

2015 Book List
Love and Respect by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs
The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman
The Unveiled Wife by Jennifer Smith
I can't recommend Love and Respect enough for anyone. Single, engaged, or married. READ it!

I got a lot of books for Christmas this year and I am so excited to dig in and start reading them!

2016 Book List
The Nesting Place  by Myquillyn Smith
Loveable Liveable Home by Sherry and John Petersik
The Best Yes by Lysa Terkeurst
Bread & Wine by Shauna Niequist
The Newlywed Cookbook by Sarah Copeland

Books that I don't have yet, but want to read this year:
You and Me Forever by Francis Chan
The Inspired Room by Melissa Michaels
For The Love by Jen Hatmaker
Simply Tuesday by Emily P. Freeman

Have y'all read any of these? Any other books I should read this year?! Send them my way, please :)

  3. Also, if you end up liking Shauna Niequist after you read Bread & Wine, I recommend Bittersweet and Cold Tanqerines by her, they are great too!

  4. We got married in 2015 too!! The best yes is such a good read. I loved it!! These are great ideas. Can't wait to check them out!! When do you find time to read? Are you a morning reader during the day or before bed? I gotta find my time because I love it so much! Just forget to make time!

  5. We are doing You and Me Forever in a Bible study group this year. So far it is very thought-provoking and challenging, but so, so good!
