We had the best weekend! Friday night my sister, Mady, came over and I made enchiladas, rice, beans, queso and virgin strawberry margaritas! And I forgot to take any pictures lol.
The weather was actually really nice, which is the exact opposite of what we thought it was going to be. It was pretty chilly Saturday morning, but that didn't stop us from setting up our yard sale. Sadly, our yard sale was a big flop..you win some, you lose some! While Reagan and I were out with the yard sale, Matthew went to Gimmie a 5 and was able to find quite a few good items, so that made up for our yard sale flop, ha! We actually did sell a few things from our yard sale later that day, just not in the yard sale lol.
After we put everything up from the yard sale I decided to take a nice long nap, and when I woke up Matthew asked if I wanted to go on a date that night....uh yeah!! He remembered that we had some gift cards laying around so we decided use them. We went to dinner and then to the movies to see, Going in Style. It was such a funny/cute movie! After the movie was over we realized it was still pretty early so we decided to run by Verizon and upgrade our phones. We had planned on doing that Sunday after church, but we were right there so we decided to do it really quickly. We are so pretty excited about our new phones...woo hoo for more storage and a better camera!!!! This picture was taken on my old phone, if you couldn't tell by the poor quality lol.
Sunday after church we met someone to sell something and then had lunch at one of our favorites, Bellacino's and then headed home to do yard work, watch the Pred's game, clean out the garage, plant flowers, do laundry, and tidy up the house a bit. It was a very productive day and we got A LOT accomplished!!
We ended the day with Matthew grilling us some hamburgers and watching a Christmas movie.
Even though it's a Christmas movie, it's one of our favorite movies...so Christmas movie in May for the win!
Four Christmas' is SO good haha- definitely okay to bust that out anytime ;) We do that with Elf from time to time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great weekend! Sorry your yard sale was a bust but yay for selling something!
