FRIDAY VOL. 1

Happy first-Friday-of-2017!
We officially made it through the first week of a new year, friends. Woo hoo!

Last year I did a "Friday No." post almost every Friday throughout the year, I missed a few Fridays here and there and then really slacked on my Friday posts towards the end of the year, but I am hoping to stay consistent with them this year. I did decide to change up the post name though, instead of "Friday No." I will be doing "Friday Vol." and number them accordingly. So with that being said, let's get started with our first Friday post of the year!

I finally remembered to snap a picture of where Reagan sleeps each night...
she actually curls up in a ball like a kitten on my shoulder most night,  but this is the general area she sleeps in, and I love it! The sweetest puppy cuddles there ever was.

When our alarm went off Tuesday morning we were slow to get up and Reagan was even slower...

Matthew had to travel to Memphis for an overnight work trip this past week so I made a big pot of my favorite potato soup for dinner, since he's not a big fan of it lol, and I have been enjoying it for lunches. The best soup for this cold weather we've been having!

I have mentioned it before, but after seeing how Blair created and designed her own planner I was inspired to make my own. It is basically identical to the one she designed, but I changed it up just a bit to fit our lives. I picked it up this week and I have enjoyed getting in it with some fun pens and adding events already. I love planners and I am so excited to use this throughout 2017!
I'll write a post over it next week!

Speaking of 2017, I will be sharing our 2017 goals + January goals next week. I'm excited to have them all down on paper and thrilled to share them soon.

Our house looks so, so bare without all of our Christmas decorations down. So bare that it's pretty sad lol but that is just motivation to get stuff up on our walls. We are just shy of a year in our home, and we have done a lot to update it painting wise, but we have only hung up two frames so far, so I'd say it's time! We have a ton of fun ideas in the works for our home and I am very excited about all of them. I also plan on doing a year update on being in our home! I wanted to do a 6 month update, but sadly it just never happened. So year update it is. ;)

As excited as I am to decorate for another holiday, helloooo Valentine's Day decor, I am trying to hold off on throwing out all the pink and purple just yet. I do want a new door hanger for our front door though, I love the idea of having a snowman for the month of January! Aren't these little guys adorable??

I picked up the new e.l.f. Hydrating Bubble Mask this week when I ran into Target, I haven't gotten a chance to use it yet, but I am looking forward to using it this weekend. Anyone try this yet? I'd love to know what you think of it!
I hope you all have a great weekend!
